THIS IS A TEST: Cellphones Across the U.S. Will Get a ‘Presidential Alert’
The alert, at 2:18 p.m. Wednesday, will be the first nationwide test of a wireless emergency alert system, designed to warn of a major threat, like a terror attack or natural disaster.
