Family of Libyan terrorist involved in 1988 Pan Am bombing given go-ahead to appeal his conviction
On December 21, 1988, Pam Am flight 103 was blown up over the Scottish town of Lockerbie at the behest of Libyan government officials, claiming the lives of all 243 passengers, 16 crew on-board, and 11 people below. And now the family of the lone convicted terrorist attack instigator has been given the green light by Scottish legal authorities to posthumously appeal that conviction.
