US military deploying resources to border as caravan approaches, Mattis says
Following reports that Mexican police toting plastic shields abandoned their blockades in the face of a swelling Central American migrant caravan over the weekend, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis announced Sunday that the U.S. military has already begun delivering resources to the U.S.-Mexico border.
