Rick Scott tiptoes around influence of Trump family in GOP primaries as 2022 nears
Sen. Rick Scott this weekend avoided directly addressing efforts by former President Trump and his son Donald Trump Jr. to boost primary challengers to incumbent GOP senators who they view as insufficiently loyal to the former president, saying he plans to back incumbents but won’t play in primaries.
